Who We Are

South Florida Pool Reviews is an independent review publication that ranks and reviews pool cleaning companies across South Florida's Palm Beach and Broward counties. We cover Boca Raton, Delray Beach, Deerfield Beach, Boynton Beach, Highland Beach, Parkland, Coconut Creek, Coral Springs, and Pompano Beach.

Our mission: give South Florida pool owners a clear, honest, data-driven ranking of local pool service providers so they can choose with confidence. We compare companies on publicly-available Google review data, certifications (CPO, licensing, insurance), years in business, published customer guarantees, and service area fit.

Ownership & Editorial Independence

South Florida Pool Reviews is published by the same operator who owns Florida's Best Pools — one of the pool cleaning companies we rank. We believe in being transparent about this relationship rather than hiding it.

We disclose this connection prominently throughout the site and on every page where Florida's Best Pools is featured. Our rankings are based on publicly-verifiable data — Google review scores, review counts, published certifications, years in business, and documented customer guarantees. Any reader can verify our rankings independently by checking the same data sources.

We have never been paid to feature any company on this site. We do not accept paid reviews, sponsored content, pay-to-play listings, or affiliate commissions from any pool service company. Every company listed in our rankings — including those ranked ahead of or behind Florida's Best Pools in any specific city — appears based on their own publicly-available performance, not compensation.

Ranking Methodology

Our rankings are built on five measurable criteria:

1. Google rating (weighted by review volume): A 5.0 with 150+ reviews beats a 4.9 with 20. We weight both dimensions — score and sample size.
2. Review count: More reviews means more data points and more reliable averages.
3. Service area fit: Response time matters. A Boca-based company will rank higher for Boca than a Miami-based one, even with identical ratings.
4. Certifications & experience: CPO certification, state licensing, bonded/insured status, years in business.
5. Published customer guarantees: Written money-back, time-based, or quality guarantees earn rankings bumps because they represent real risk reversal for customers.

All data is sourced from publicly-available information: Google Business Profiles, state licensing databases, company websites, and published press coverage. We update rankings quarterly or whenever meaningful new data changes a ranking.

What We Don't Do

• We don't accept payment to rank any company higher or lower.
• We don't publish sponsored content disguised as editorial reviews.
• We don't participate in affiliate programs with any pool company.
• We don't remove negative information about any ranked company — including Florida's Best Pools — if it's true and publicly-verifiable.
• We don't inflate Florida's Best Pools' ranking. When a competitor legitimately outperforms them on the five criteria, we say so on that company's listing.

Florida's Best Pools currently ranks #1 in several of our city listings, including Boca Raton, Delray Beach, Boynton Beach, and others. This is based on their publicly-verifiable data: a 5.0 Google rating across 155+ reviews, CPO certification (#C-105377), a published 100% money-back guarantee, and local Boca Raton headquarters.

If a competitor were to objectively outperform Florida's Best Pools on these metrics — a higher Google score with more reviews, or a stronger published guarantee — that competitor would take the #1 spot. Our methodology is transparent specifically so readers can verify this for themselves.

Every ranking claim on this site is backed by publicly-verifiable data:

• Google review data: Direct from each company's Google Business Profile
• CPO certifications: Verifiable through the Pool & Hot Tub Alliance (PHTA) directory
• Florida business licensing: Sunbiz.org (Florida Division of Corporations)
• Published customer guarantees: Direct from company websites, screenshots archived
• Years in business: Sunbiz incorporation dates + Google Business Profile establishment dates

We welcome fact-checking. If any claim on this site is inaccurate, contact us and we'll correct it promptly.

Privacy

We collect minimal visitor data. Google Analytics tracks page visits, scroll depth, and phone-click events for the purpose of improving the site. Form submissions are forwarded to the contacted pool service provider (not used for our own email marketing). We do not sell visitor data to third parties. About the Founder & Editor

This publication is edited and written by Matt, owner of Florida's Best Pools and a 20-year Certified Pool Operator (#C-105377). Matt was trained by his father, a South Florida pool professional since 1980. Between them, they've personally serviced over 10,000 residential pools across Palm Beach and Broward counties.
